Mohammad has wide international expertise in Facilities Management, Sustainability/ LEED Management, and Construction Management as well as in MEP Utilities and Infrastructure Management.
Moreover, he had a long pioneering path as a free-lance consultant, education lecturer, professional trainer, and public speaker mainly on LEED Certification and Sustainability Management fields since 2006.
Mohammad has a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
In his current position, as Director of Facilities at KAPSARC, Mohammad is leading innovational integrated Facilities Management model handling Technical Services, Utilities and Infrastructure, Community Services, Event Management, Office Services, Contract and Finance Administration, as well as Quality and Performance Management on the entire KAPSARC Premises (about 500,000 sq.m developed areas on a 2miilion sq.m site/ including top-notch world-class facilities, and multiple world-class prestigious LEED Platinum facilities).
Moreover, he is a USGBC Faculty (since 2012), a Commissioning Authority (since 2011), a LEED Accredited Professional (since 2007), and served as ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer (2012-14).
Mohammad participates actively in many professional international organizations including, but not limited to ASHRAE, USGBC, AABC, IFMA, OEA, SCE, SAEE, and served in various leading positions at local, regional, and international platforms. (Served as ASHRAE Chapter President, Regional Vice Chair, Assistant Regional Chair, ASHRAE CTTC Committee Chair, USGBC International Summit Co-Chair, and many others)
Hassan Younes is the Co - CEO & Founder of grfn, a multi-disciplinary consultancy and has over 15 years of extensive experience in the fields of Energy Efficiency, Design, Sustainability, and Project Execution and Management. Hassan has been involved in many high-end projects in the MENA region encompassing MEP designs, energy efficiency, commissioning management , sustainability and measurement and verification for new and existing buildings in the MENA region. He also was involved in energy and sustainability policy studies for many governmental entities in the GCC.
He is a trainer for the ASHRAE Global Training Centre. He is a trainer for the Association of energy engineers’ Certified Energy Manager ( CEM) course, Energy Valuation Organization’s Certified Measurement Verification Professional (CMVP) course and the facilitator for the Emirates Green Building Council Building Retrofit Program. He is an appointed Consultant for ASHRAE 62.1 Standard and is a member of the training committee for the CMVP course.
He is also the current ASHRAE Falcon Chapter president and on the technical committee and was the Vice Chair of CIBSE Regional Chapter. Hassan holds all the ASHRAE certifications.

Fadi is a Certified Energy Manage, Carbon Audit Professional and Business Energy Professional from the Association of Energy Engineers in the US. Fadi has supported key client in the MENA region in different sector like energy, real estate, health, telecom and retails.
Wael Darkazanli
PMO Consultant - Parsons
Wael has 19+ year-experience in construction projects, where more than 12 years in Project Management and PMO services.
He has executed different types of PMO for public and governmental sectors, and he is currently working with Parsons for the Ministry of Municipality, Rural Affairs, and Housing MOMRAH - as a PMO Consultant.
His experience has covered different types of construction projects such as high-rise buildings, residential compounds, and educational buildings, where he has worked in different technical and managerial positions.

Prof. Muhammad Asif
Professor of Architectural Engineering - King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
Dr Muhammad Asif is a Professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. His areas of research interests include renewable energy, energy conservation and management, energy policy, sustainable buildings and life cycle assessment. He is a Charted Engineer (UK), Certified Energy Manager (USA) and Member of the Energy Institute (UK). He is author of two books and over 100 research papers. He has provided research & advisory services to prominent public and private sector entities in Europe, Middle East and South Asia such as the European Commission, Fraunhofer Institute, Nor-Dan and Grameen Shakti. He has conducted teaching and training activities in several countries including Austria, Finland, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Oman, Pakistan and Turkey.
Mario Saab
Head of Sustainability MENA - Cundall
In early 2021, Mario joined Cundall as the Head of Sustainability MENA to shape the company’s business in the region as it rises to meet increased demand for sustainable and net zero carbon solutions. Mario has successfully directed turnkey high-profile projects across the MENA region including the Dubai Expo 2020 UAE Pavilion, SABIC HQs in Saudi Arabia, Meydan One Mall in Dubai, Bahrain Airport new terminal building, and the Lebanon Waterfront City.
Mario currently holds over fourteen years of diversified regional experience across sectors including Low and Net Zero Carbon design, project management, operations, planning, trainings and contracts administration. His passion for this field led him to acquire several international accreditations, notably being a USGBC Faculty, LEED AP, ESTIDAMA PQP, BREEAM International Assessor and GSAS Certified Green Professional.
